Today our volunteers met to sort through all of the shoes, clothing, and school supplies donated as a part of our latest humanitarian effort to help the six elementary school students from Bratunac who face troubling schooling and living conditions. Thanks to our wonderful community, we were able to put together plentiful care packages for each of the children and will be shipping them directly to the students on Friday! We expect the packages to arrive towards the end of May and will provide updates as they become available!
Next to the wonderful donations pictured below, our community has raised more than $1,500 of which a small portion will be used to cover shipping expenses, while the majority of funds will be split amongst the families of the six students. We will continue to accept monetary donations through April 6, 2019 for those that would still like to participate in this humanitarian effort.
