In May of this year, our team began collecting online donations for emergency aid for the soup kitchens in Mostar and Bihać and the nursing home in Goražde, BiH. These institutions were struggling to continue providing aid to their communities during the initial pandemic outbreak and were not receiving any help from the government . Thanks to your generous donations, our online campaign was able to raise $5,525 by the middle of June.
The NEFBiH board of directors made the decision to add another $475 in donations to bring the total up to $6,000, which was split evenly between the three cities. Below, you can find two of the three thank you cards we received from the Mostar soup kitchen and the Goražde nursing home. Once again, thank you for your help in making a difference in the our communities abroad during a time at which help was desperately needed . Our donations were met with many thanks and much appreciation.
